Fred and Debbie OsbornIntroducing "Amber"
Debbie decided to go to a Reiki seminar on a whim. It was bing given by Joyce Wilcox, author of 'Hands of Light'. While participating in a demonstration, she made a startling discovery. She immediately signed up for Joyce's Reiki class, and hasn't stopped studying and training since. Speaker: Frank Madrid, President of The Arizona Paranormal Society
Title: A Paranormalist Shares Details
Frank Madrid is President and Founder of The Arizona Paranormal Society (T.Az.P.S.). He has been interested in the paranormal since he was 9 years old when he had experienced numerous happenings in his home (not all pleasant). He was physically tormented as a child while living with his family in National City, California, by numerous entities in his home.
He comes from a family of "seers" and feels that he is highly in tune with the energies that are around him. There was a time in 1989 at his family's business in Phoenix, AZ that he was visited frequently by a young girl spirit who liked to play pranks at night after business hours. This is when his paranormal investigations began.
He has experienced many sightings on his journey such as full body apparitions, energy emitting orbs, misty apparitions, and objects moving on their own. Some experiences can never be forgotten.
Due to his extensive exposure to the paranormal, in 2006 he was prompted to found The Arizona Paranormal Society in the hopes of conducting extensive scientific research into the paranormal under controlled conditions. His research has included the use of experimental positive and negative ion generators, electromagnetic field emitters, static electricity generators and a "Jacob's ladder" as well.
"T.Az.P.S. believes that these devices may help give entities the energy needed in order to manifest themselves. We have found that these devices work well for EVP research as well, allowing some EVP to be audible to the human ear as it is being recorded. Our research continues on with each paranormal investigation."
He will speak on what it is like to be a paranormal investigator, the different types and occurrences of paranormal activity, what effect electromagnetic fields have on the brain and its ability to perceive the environment and how to record and analyze Electronic Voice Phenomena. He will have audio examples of EVP, digital still pictures, and will bring a portion of paranormal investigative equipment for discussion.
